Last updated: May 2026
This document explains telehealth as provided through Ryo and the consent you give when receiving care. Please read it carefully.
What telehealth is
Telehealth uses secure technology to deliver healthcare without an in-person visit. Your provider reviews your information and communicates with you electronically.
Benefits
- Convenient access to licensed providers.
- Continuity of care and ongoing monitoring.
- Discreet, private interactions.
Limitations & risks
- Some conditions require in-person evaluation; your provider may refer you for one.
- Technology may occasionally fail or delay communication.
- A prescription is issued only when clinically appropriate and is never guaranteed.
Emergencies
Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Consent
